Shepherds Vine Christian Centre (SVCC) started as a Ministry in Yenagoa,  Bayelsa State, early in the Year 2000, when the Founding Pastors; Rev. Emmanuel Ogiemudia, the Senior Pastor, and his dear wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Kemi Ogiemudia, the Associate Senior Pastor, relocated with their hitherto young family,  from Lagos, Nigeria, to begin the Ministry in this land, with the devine mandate of bringing about restoration of the land and its people, and transforming them to into God's original position, purpose and plan for them.

Few years down the line, precisely in 2005, the Nedugo Branch Church of SVCC began, with Harold Ihua as the pioneer Pastor of the Branch Church, to further carry on with the corporate mandate of its Founders, to neighboring communities in that part of the state. Since then, the Church has evolved, from being a relatively small gathering/fellowship of brethren in the community, to a relatively large Church in the area, with successive branch church pastors deligently carrying on and fulfilling the core mandate of the Ministry, as handed down by the Founding Pastors, in Nedugo community in particular, and in Gbarain Clan at large.
SVCC Nedugo, by Gods grace, has impacted its environment and its host communities in the following ways:
Salvation of many Lives: The gospel of Jesus Christ has gone out powerfully in this land of Gbarain, and many have come to belief in it and have experienced great change by living the life which the Lord has promise His dear children.
Restoration: Countless lives, homes and marriages have been restored in terms being able to showcase the grace that God has given to the restored man in Christ Jesus (2Cor 5:17). New personalities in Christ have been formed.
Ministry Ambassadors: SVCC, Nedugo has been able to raise ministry ambassadors, both at home and abroad. Some of our sons and daughters who have left the community still hold on to the values and principles which the Ministry stand for. Also, some effectively use the gift(s) and talent(s) which were given them in affecting lives posivitely for the Kingdom of God.
Ministry Extension: We have played key a role in the Outreach efforts of the Ministry by ensuring that the gospel reaches every community in Gbarain Kingdom. The Radio and Television broadcasts from our Ministry (SVCC) play a major role in the accomplishment of this goal.
Few years after the Church the started, and in partnership with the headquarters Church Outreach Team, which was led by Pastor Tare Fiddi, the work of planting a Church in Obunagha (Tunama) Community, began and today we have another branch in Gbarain Kingdom.

 Like the Apostle Paul said in Phil 3:13, we are still pressing on to see that more impact is made in this place where God has located us.
